PocketGems held the 2019 War Dragons Player Summit in San Francisco. The top ranking players and guilds were invited to attend the event. Attendees received a complementary gift bag upon arrival of the two day event that culminated with a medieval style banquet.
I converted War Dragons Guild Badges from the mobile game into simplified vector icons for print. We made a give away sticker sheet and 4'x6' banners which were draped from the walls of the banquet hall. Side note: The banners were so popular that many of the attendees decided to take them home. (Borrowed of course.)
Soccer Smash | Mobile Game Prototype
Soccer Smash was intended to be a soccer version of the popular mobile game Golf Clash. I was a part of a small team with a short turn around. My contributions were in design. I designed gameplay UI, the app icon, logo, loading bar and load screen.
Variations | Icon Design
War Dragons: The War Dragons Mobile Game App Icon received regular seasonal updates. The versions below show my Summer, Spring and Valentine's Day variations.
Wild Beyond: We A/B tested multiple App Icons before the game's launch.The winning icon has the hero in the foreground with a giant character looming off to the side. I used the War Dragon's icon as a reference for the design. The icon overwhelmingly outperformed the others and became Wild Beyond's official app store icon.
Hackathon Patches
The 2019 Hackathon took place in the summer. The theme was Camp Hacker. The concept was similar to the Boy Scout's earning patches for achievements. At the start of each day a new patch was handed out to everyone attending. Every patch featured a fun variation of the summer camp theme "HACK-athon" as well as a hidden easter egg within each patch that only a chosen few would understand.
